These Maki-Shaped Soy Sauce Bowls Are the Perfect Gift for Sushi Lovers
When food meets design.
Korean designer Nam Yoon has created a new set of playful sauce bowls inspired by maki sushi.
A great kitchen gift option for the sushi lover in your life, the four-piece set arrives with small porcelain bowls perfect for holding condiments from soy sauce to ponzu. Each bowl features a different graphic design resembling a variety of sushi rolls: “Salmon and Avocado,” “Salmon Roe,” “Red Fish Roe, Avocado and Salmon” as well as “Cucumber, Crab and Avocado.” Another smart design feature, the lid of the bowl doubles as a chopstick rest for when you enjoy your takeout dinner.
Nam Yoon’s sushi-shaped sauce bowl set is exclusively available at the MoMA Design Store for $58 USD. You can also purchase the bowls individually for $16 USD each.
