Fall Into Deep Sleep With This Metapod-Shaped Sleeping Bag

While we recently saw a Pokémon phone case collection from Casetify, Premium Bandai has now unveiled images of a Metapod-shaped sleeping bag. The life-sized item is designed to fit anyone aged 15 and above, perfect for taking a snug rest at home.
Roughly 1.5 meters long and 97 centimeters tall, the bodysuit resembling Metapod – an evolved form of Caterpie as it prepares to become Butterfree – is covered in its signature green shade, with cushioning on the inside for maximum comfort. Made with a blend of polyester and nylon, it’s complete with a zip fastener to make the user feel more secure.
Taking over social media feeds over the past few days, the Pokémon-themed accessory sold out in just seven hours since its launch, calling for a restock. Priced at ¥35,000 JPY (approximately $332 USD), the Metapod sleeping bag is now open for preorder, restricted to one piece per person. The coveted item will be shipped from April 2021 onwards.
