PORTER Drops Limited-Edition Doraemon Accessories
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the manga character.
Japanese accessories brand PORTER is celebrating the 50th anniversary of popular manga character Doraemon with a capsule collection of bags decorated with the cartoon cat.
Crossbody purses, totes and wallets arrive in PORTER’s usual cloth construction, this time decorated with with a playful inkjet print of Doraemon holding a PORTER-branded suitcase. Doraemon’s gold bell adorns each item, a further nod to the beloved character. Additional accessories include a buckled fanny pack and rectangular backpack, while limited-edition apparel spans T-shirts, pins and bandanas. To celebrate the capsule, PORTER is holding a special pop-up at its PORTER Gallery 1 flagship in Tokyo and PORTER STAND at Shinagawa Station through January 12, 2021.
The Doraemon x PORTER collection ranges from approximately $18 to $336 USD, and is exclusively available at PORTER’s Japan-based stores and online shop.
