MYKITA's Mylon Safety Glasses Are Certified for Use as PPE
Developed in collaboration with medical workers.
Eyewear brand MYKITA has introduced new sunglasses that double as a statement accessory and personal protective equipment (PPE).
The Mylon Guard One is a shield-like silhouette, developed with medical workers, that can help reduce wearers’ risk of contracting COVID-19. Made with anti-fog technology, the glasses are certified for use as PPE in both Europe and North America, meaning they can be worn in conditions where prolonged social contact is necessary. An adjustable head strap ensures no-slip comfort while fit is optimized for wear over most eyeglasses. Featuring removable lenses, the glasses can also be sanitized for re-use and mounted with a UV-protecting shield (sold separately for $79 USD) for outdoor use.
MYKITA’s Mylon Guard One protective eyewear retails for $329 USD at the MYKITA website.
