Customize Your Kicks With Nike’s New Air Force 1/1

Arriving with detachable white and orange overlays.

Having recently revealed a “Valentine’s Day” iteration of the silhouette, Nike has now introduced new customizable Air Force 1s, dubbed the 1/1. With this pair, you’ll be able to sport all kinds of looks, thanks to detachable overlays.

Dressed in “Cosmic Clay,” the sneaker’s upper – which may seem just like the regular AF1 at first glance – reveals a black VELCRO® layer underneath. Wearers can remove sections like the Swooshes or heel tab to create their very own version of the shoe. The kicks can be worn without any of the overlays for an all-black look, or can be interchanged with white and bright orange pieces for a statement-making style. Rounding off the pack is a set of additional black and orange shoelaces to add to the customization process. For those willing to go the extra mile, you can even attach your very own VELCRO® badges for the ultimate personalized sneakers.

Peep the new shoes down below. Priced at $140 USD, Nike’s Air Force 1/1 in “Cosmic Clay” is set to release on December 17 via the sportswear giant’s online store.
