Nike Unveils a "University Blue" Iteration of the Air Jordan 1
Reportedly slated for a February 2021 release.
Nike has given the Air Jordan 1 silhouette a brand new makeover. Arriving in a “University Blue” colorway, the sneaker features a classic color-blocked look, similar to the 2015 Retro High OG “Chicago” release.
The leather upper sports hues of light blue suede fabric found on the mudguards, eyestays, collar flaps and heels, while white graces the toeboxes, quarters and throats. Elsewhere, the Swoosh, lacing system and collars arrive in a jet black shade for added contrast. Rounding out the style is the black ball-and-wings logo on the collar flap and the blue “Nike Air” motif on the tongue tag.
The Air Jordan 1 “University Blue” has yet to receive an official release date. However, reports state that the shoe might drop on February 20, 2021 and will retail for $170 USD.
