'RuPaul's Drag Race' Reveals a Sneak Peek at Season 13
The show will return on New Year’s Day.
Award-winning TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race will be returning in the new year with its 13th season. Ahead of the premiere, VH1 has released a preview of the first episode featuring queens competing in a lip-sync challenge.
In a 10 minute-long video, Kandy Muse makes her grand entrance in a head-to-toe denim look, while Joey Jay shortly follows with an all-red outfit. The two queens head over to the stage to meet RuPaul and judges Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews, who sit with plastic dividers in between them as a safety measure in light of the ongoing pandemic. For the first time ever, contestants are immediately invited to compete on six lip-sync stages.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 premieres on January 1, 2021 at 8 p.m. EST on VH1, as well as channels like The CW, MTV, MTV2, PopTV and Logo. Watch the preview above.
