Colette Recruits Virgil Abloh for Limited-Edition Jitney Bag
Available at a pop-up in Paris.
Following the release of Colette, Mon Amour, a documentary tracing the final six months of famed French concept store Colette, the now-shuttered fashion landmark has teamed up with Virgil Abloh and Off-White™ for a commemorative, limited-edition Jitney purse. The bag, made in a scarce edition of 20, will be available at a pop-up located at the Maison Kitsuné Tuileries in Paris.
The customized bag is crafted of black leather with a shoulder strap rendered in Colette’s signature blue. The front flap and body of the bag are decorated with Abloh’s graffiti-style writing that reads, “COLETTE,” “MON AMOUR,” and “TURN TO OPEN” in reference to the bag’s silver arrow closure. A zip-tie boasting the edition number is fastened to the black top handle of the bag.
The Off-White™ x Colette, Mon Amour Jitney will be sold at the Colette, Mon Amour Souvenir Shop in Paris from February 24 to March 4.
