SK-II Creates Limited Edition "Tokyo Doll" Facial Treatment Essence
The “miracle water” gets an adorable makeover.
Japanese beauty brand SK-II, an official partner of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (which have since been postponed to 2021), will release a “Tokyo Doll” edition of its popular Facial Treatment Essence. The bottle, updated with two different cartoon faces as caps, takes inspiration from the unique street style of Tokyo and is printed with the official Olympic Games logo.
The SK-II Facial Treatment Essence is hailed as “miracle water” for its brightening, clearing and toning effects. Made of a top-secret formulation featuring an ingredient the brand dubs Pitera™, the essence has quickly become a cult favorite among beauty enthusiasts and editors alike.
The SK-II “Tokyo Doll” Facial Treatment Essence retails for approximately $203 USD, and releases in Hong Kong on April 1.
