Encouraging Creativity in Quarantine, Alexander McQueen Launches Weekly Creators Challenge

Alexander McQueen has announced McQueen Creators, a new initiative to engage creatives self-isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Each week, McQueen’s Instagram will announce a new artistic challenge — this week, the brand invites followers to sketch designer Sarah Burton‘s Fall/Winter 2019 “roses” dress (pictured above) and share their renditions with the hashtag #McQueenCreators for the chance to be featured. According to a statement from the label, “future projects for the community will include 3-D creation and embroidery from home, amongst other initiatives to be announced via our social channels.”
