UPDATE: Glossier Launches Very First Hand Cream
Following the brand’s donation of 10,000 bottles to healthcare workers.
UPDATE (April 23, 2020): Glossier‘s first hand cream has officially launched after nearly two years of development. The cream, now available for purchase online, was initially announced earlier this month when the brand donated its first 10,000 bottles of the product to healthcare workers across the U.S.
Arriving in a curved, ergonomic bottle, the cream is formulated with meadowfoam seed oil and coconut fruit extract to help lock in moisture. Lightly scented with Glossier’s perfume, You, the fast-absorbing formula is a moisturizing pick-me-up.
The Glossier Hand Cream retails for $18 USD at Glossier’s website.
ORIGINAL STORY (April 14, 2020): Glossier has announced its new hand cream, which has been in the works for the past two years, with a donation of 10,000 bottles of the product to healthcare workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the past month, Glossier has been donating soothing skincare products to support nurses and doctors suffering from bruised and irritated faces, the result of long hours wearing masks and goggles. Now, the brand will ship the first 10,000 bottles of its hand cream to hospitals across the U.S. that requested donations through Glossier’s website. “We’ll be following up with the remaining applicants who are verified healthcare professionals,” Glossier clarified in an Instagram announcing its donation.
Glossier’s Hand Cream launches April 23. Further details will be announced next week at the Glossier website.
Besides Glossier, brands including Milk Makeup, Huda Beauty and Charlotte Tilbury are also contributing to COVID-19 relief efforts.
