Get Ready for Halloween With Nike's Ghoulish, Glow-in-the-Dark Air Max 97
The Ghostbusters would be beside themselves.
With all goyles and ghouls preparing for the spooky season ahead, sneakerheads can expect plenty of Halloween-inspired footwear drops to come. Kicking off the creepy collections is Nike‘s upcoming Air Max 97, complete with glow-in-the-dark slime oozing down the wavy laterals. To contrast the pastel green of the glow-in-the-dark material also used for the outsole, a deep purple hue colors the suede panel found on the profile. Adding an additional pop of color is a vibrant orange-red swoosh at the mid-foot.
The remaining top half of the shoe is dipped in a pure black shade, which is only broken by the iridescent piping found encircling the middle portion of the lacing system. Rounding off the look is a heel tag that boasts “Air Max” branding in red atop a black background with a purple outline.
Although details are still sparse regarding an exact release date, be sure to look out for an official launch some time in October.
