Wood Wood and RAINS Deliver Weather-Proof Collection

Inspired by Denmark’s drizzly weather.

Danish brands Wood Wood and RAINS have teamed up on a collection informed by Denmark’s typically drizzly weather. On average, the Scandinavian country sees 179 days of rain per year — accordingly, the two brands have debuted a range of weather-proof outerwear and accessories.

Unisex raincoats in charcoal gray and white feature brimmed, drawstring hoods for protection against the elements. Wood Wood’s signature “Bubble-Arrow” motif, originating from a doodle by co-founder Karl-Oskar Olsen, adorns the back vent of both raincoats alongside text reading “179 DAYS 746 MM,” a reference to Denmark’s rainy day statistics. Drawstring bucket hats, also in grey and white, along with a transparent crossbody bag feature similar graphics and text.

The Wood Wood by RAINS collection launches at the Wood Wood and RAINS websites on September 17.
