Find the Hidden Details on Nike's "Valentine's Day"-Themed Air Max 90
“ME + AM90 = TRUE LOVE.”
Adding on to its lineup of love-filled kicks such as the new Air Force 1s, Nike is celebrating Valentine’s Day with another pair of sneakers. This time around, the Air Max 90 arrives with hidden details throughout.
As suggested by the theme, the silhouette is covered with a pink and red color palette. Atop a crisp white leather base, the design sees pink suede overlays along the laterals and mudguard. The same hue is splashed onto the rubber material on the Air unit and heel tab.
Serving contrast, a bold red hue is found on the Swoosh and Air Max branding, as well as the lacing system, which features a secret eyelet in the shape of a heart. Meanwhile, the tongue tag comes with a flap enclosed with a snap button, revealing a heart motif that reads, “ME + AM90 = TRUE LOVE.” To round out the look, the red color is applied to the outsole and the footbed.
