Feng Chen Wang x UGG Reunite for Updated Classic Boot and Fluff Sandal

Following their team-up back in April, UGG and Feng Chen Wang have come together once again to rework the Southern California-based brand’s Classic Boot and Fluff Sandal silhouettes for the Fall/Winter 2021 season.
“I’ve always been inspired by the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang, that looks at the concept of dualism — describing how obviously opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary,” the Chinese designer tells HYPEBAE. “The first season focused on the classic iconic colors but for this season, I wanted to develop these ideas and enable the wearer new ways of expressing themselves with new colors, new construction details and new silhouettes.” She further elaborates: “For FW21, this manifests itself very clearly in the updated color palette with the boot in opposites of black and white, gray and pink.” As explained by the designer, “the boot’s deconstructed design enables the user to wear them in multiple ways — as boots, as sandals or as soft socks.”
Both unisex designs are highlighted with Wang’s deconstructed style throughout. The Classic, somewhat reminiscent of ski boots, arrives with buckles on the upper. The shoe comes in black, white, and pink/beige colorways. Meanwhile, the Fluff Sandal — available in black, white and gray/pink — is a cozy option with fuzzy lining to keep your feet warm.
