Gucci Names 'Squid Game' Star Lee Jung-jae as New Global Ambassador

Alongside ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ actor Shin Min-a.

Another Squid Game star has been appointed the role of a global ambassador for a luxury brand — Lee Jung-jae is now the new face of Gucci, alongside Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha‘s Shin Min-a.

Other than his lead role in Netflix’s latest hit K-drama, Lee also worked on shows like New World and Deliver Us from Evil. “His talent, combined with his very personal and well-defined take on fashion, speak to Gucci’s values of inclusivity and self-expression,” the house shared in a press release. The actor’s next project will be on a film titled Hunt, which will mark his debut as a director.

Meanwhile, Shin is known for her influential refined style and impeccable acting skills. The Korean actor is set to star in a new series called Our Blues. The label added: “The passion for her work, along with her distinctive yet encompassing style, speak to Gucci’s values of inclusivity and self-expression.”

Stay tuned for Lee and Shin’s upcoming projects with the house under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele.
