Clean Beauty Brand LaPierre Launches 'Shrek'-Themed Nail Lacquer Line
Inspired by the green ogre himself, Fiona, Donkey and more.
New Orleans-based clean beauty brand LaPierre Cosmetics has teamed up with Universal Brand Development on a Shrek-themed nail polish collection.
“The signature aesthetic and irreverent humor that is an indelible part of DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek franchise shines through this epic collection and is truly one-of-a-kind,” Brandi Blocker, founder of LaPierre, said in a press release. “I am extremely excited and honored to be collaborating with Universal Brand Development to produce the ‘Shrek-ish’ collection. I love nail polish and Shrek, so working on this line was very exciting.”
The line is comprised of eight vibrant and sparkling hues: “Shrek-ish,” “Fiona’s Fairytale,” “Gingy,” “Ba-Donkey Donk,” “Swamped,” “What the Farquaad?,” “Dragons in Duloc” and “Beauty is Only Stiltskin Deep.” All colorways come with a stylized insert card featuring their corresponding character from the film, including Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and more.
