Wellness Brand Rainbo Launches Universal Mushroom Body Salve
The hydrating balm is the brand’s first skincare product.
Mushroom wellness brand Rainbo drops its Universal Mushroom Body Salve. Known for its functional foods, medicinal tinctures and supplements, the all-over body balm is Rainbo’s debut into skincare products.
Designed for on-the-go use, the deeply nourishing salve is formulated with a fortifying blend of mushrooms and skin-supporting herbal ingredients, like snow mushroom extract, which is a humectant. Much like hyaluronic acid, the powerful plant attracts moisture to the skin, but can hold up to five times as much water for even more hydration. The supercharged lotion also includes reishi and chaga mushroom to aid in skin regeneration and fight against free radicals and pollutants.
Not to mention, the healing product boasts calendula, a plant-based antioxidant powerhouse that promotes collagen use and protects the skin’s precious barrier.
To create the Universal Mushroom Body Salve’s warm scent, Rainbo has partnered with Asia Grant, founder of the vegan skincare and fragrance line Redoux, to capture the brand’s earthy and whimsical spirit.
Priced at $20 USD, the fungi-powered body salve is available on Rainbo’s website.
