Nike's Upcoming Dunk Low Is Covered in Bumblebee Yellow
Here’s when the silhouette is expected to drop.
UPDATE (December 7, 2021): After leaked images of the Nike Dunk Low “Goldenrod” began surfacing back in August, the women’s release finally has an official release date. Reminiscent of the Varsity Maize Dunk released in December 2020, this similar colorway will also see a holiday release.
The “Goldenrod” Dunk Low will hit the SNKRS app and select Nike stockists December 16, joining other highly anticipated December drops including the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” and the Jordan 1 High OG “Bred Patent.”
ORIGINAL STORY (August 15, 2021): The Nike Dunk Low will be releasing in “Goldenrod,” a familiar black and yellow colorway created in 1985 for the Iowa Hawkeyes as part of Nike Basketball’s “Be True to Your School” pack.
The leather mudguards, eyestays, Swooshes, collar flaps and heel tabs come in a bumblebee yellow hue, while the toeboxes, quarters and collars are dressed in black for contrast. Elsewhere, the branding on the tongue tabs and insoles boast the same yellow shade. The while midsoles and yellow outsoles round off the footwear style.
The Nike Dunk Low “Goldenrod” does not have an official launch date yet, but it will likely drop this fall at select retailers for $100 USD.
