When and Where To Watch “The Creative Come Up: Graduating Class” Panel

Featuring influential Black creatives who are reshaping creative industries.

In order to expand upon the key learnings taught by boundary-breaking Black females and gender nonconforming people of color, HYPEBAE and Converse have joined forces to facilitate an educational panel as part of The Creative Come Up series. As an extension of the educational program, the panel titled “The Creative Come Up: Graduating Class,” moderated by Amanda Williams, will feature three prominent figures who played a vital role in the series through amplifying their years of experience and wealth of knowledge.

Honing in on creative teachings and valuable takeaways learned throughout the duration of their career, the panel will be comprised of photographer and director Dana Scruggs, artist Aya Brown and Crystal Anderson, head of creative and co-founder of a very good job. In an in-depth conversation, the creative professionals will discuss how to create authentic art, using your identity to shape your creative practice, how to network and build an inclusive brand along with ways to engage, and uplift your community through artistic mediums. Highlighting how they’ve achieved success in their respective fields, the talent will reveal the ins-and-outs on redefining the status quo and will act as an inspirational mode on how aspiring creatives can pursue their creative endeavors to the fullest.

Come back and check out the panel discussion on December 9, 2021 at 10:00AM EST on HYPEBAE.com.
