K-Pop Superstar KARINA Just Joined the Converse Family

Fronting two new sneaker drops.

K-pop star and aespa member KARINA is saying no to boring kicks as she enters the Converse universe. Known for her viral fashion moments and boundary-pushing versatility, the music superstar is fronting two bold new drops: the Run Star Crush and the Chuck 70 X.

“Both on stage and off, I love breaking the mold and exploring my individuality through style,” KARINA shared. First up is the Run Star Crush, a playful, chunky silhouette featuring an exaggerated molded foam midsole that looks like it’s consuming the classic Chuck upper. The shoe is avant-garde, ultra-lightweight and ready for your daily dose of street-style.

If you prefer a refined classic, the Chuck 70 X elevates the signature high-top with subtle vintage vibes, dual-star bumper details, an updated leather patch and a handy tongue stabilizer for all-day comfort.

Whether you want to stomp around in sculptural platform soles or rock a polished Y2K-inspired staple, KARINA is proving that Converse is the perfect canvas for self-expression. The Chuck 70 X drops globally on August 27 via the brand’s website, so mark those calendars.
