Louis Vuitton Erects Giant Statue of Virgil Abloh in Miami

As part of the late designer’s final show for the fashion house.

Shortly after the untimely death of Off-White™ founder and Louis Vuitton Men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh last weekend, the French fashion house announced the presentation of the designer’s last collection for Spring/Summer 2022.

Showcased earlier this evening in Miami, the runway saw a slew of Abloh’s innovative menswear designs ranging from a variety of outerwear to tulle skirts. Prior to the show, Louis Vuitton put up a giant statue of the creative covered in an orange-yellow-blue gradient design. Abloh is seen wearing his signature oversized sunglasses, an LV sweater, loose-fitted pants with an LV belt and sneakers. Completing the work of art is what seems to be a massive notebook printed with the house’s iconic monogram pattern.

Take a closer look at the statue above. In case you missed it, check out Louis Vuitton’s “Virgil Was Here” SS22 collection.
