Kim Jones x Nike Officially Unveil Air Max 95
Along with a capsule collection of apparel.
Kim Jones and Nike have officially announced their Air Max 95 collaboration, set to release alongside a collection of apparel. The longtime collaborators previously worked on an ultra-luxe version of the Air Jordan. Now, the designer updates another classic silhouette with directional detailing and vibrant colors.
The sneaker arrives in two colorways, “Volt” and “Total Orange.” The former applies a lime green lacing system to a gray and sky blue upper, accented with repeating perforations. A white midsole is constructed with matching green Air units and a blue rubber outsole. The latter features hits of orange in the same spots, contrasting fire-y laces and Air units against a blue-gray base. In apparel, Jones splashes blown-up Nike branding on essentials such as sweatshirts and sweatpants. Weather-proof zip-ups, hooded coats and sweatpants round out the team-up.
The Kim Jones x Nike apparel collection and Air Max 95 “Total Orange” will release globally via Nike SNKRS on March 19. The Air Max 95 “Volt” will drop exclusively in the UK. Sneakers retail for $220 USD, and apparel pricing has yet to be announced.
