Clean Haircare Brand Susteau Launches Waterless Moondust Hair Shampoo and Conditioner

Featuring a powder-to-liquid formula that transforms into a creamy consistency within seconds.

Susteau, previously known as OWA Haircare, is a clean beauty brand dedicated to creating sustainable, conscious and concentrated products. In celebration of its relaunch, the label has released its new waterless Moondust Hair Conditioner, the counterpart to its Moondust Hair Wash.

“Susteau combines ‘sustainability’ [and] ‘eau’ (the French word for water). The brand name encompasses our sustainable approach to water as it relates to beauty, using little to absolutely none at all,” says Susteau’s founder Kailey Bradt in a press release. “The beauty industry has lacked environmental sustainability, transparency and innovation. We’re setting out to change that.”

Featuring a powder-to-liquid formula, the conditioner transforms into a creamy consistency within seconds of lathering with wet hands. Made out of ingredients like plant-based rice protein, aloe vera and squalane, the product provides moisture and hydration without weighing the hair down. Suitable for all hair types, the shampoo and conditioner make the perfect pair to achieve soft, healthy hair. As part of Susteau’s sustainability efforts, the duo comes in custom-designed packaging made out of ocean-bound recycled plastic.

Priced at $29 USD each or $55 USD as a duo, the scented and unscented Moondust Hair Wash and Hair Conditioner are now available for pre-order via Susteau’s web store.
