Amsterdam-Based Brand YUME YUME Launches Nature-Inspired Silhouettes for Spring
Statement boots and sandals crafted from vegan material.
Amsterdam-based design collective YUME YUME has released its latest collection of footwear for the Spring 2021 season. Dubbed “Grown by Nature,” the range features nature-inspired silhouettes.
“The theme for our Spring 2021 collection has a two-sided meaning. On the one hand, we draw inspiration from how nature naturally designs beautiful colors, structures and silhouettes,” the label stated in a press release. “And on the other hand, we, as a brand, have grown naturally. From a little seed that we planted to a leaf, growing into a beautiful forest in the future.”
Standouts include the Flower Jacquard Mid Camp Shoe boot reminiscent of camping shoes. The upper is crafted from woven jacquard fabric sourced from Italy, and comes with nylon straps and a neoprene sock. Elsewhere, the Hiking Sandal is equipped with a Vibram outsole, is made out of vegan materials, consists of anti-bacterial lining and boasts a protective toe cap. Perfect for WFH days, the Camp Shoe Eco-Wool features soft vegan suede fabric and 100 percent eco-friendly wool.
