Margot Robbie Returns as Harley Quinn in New Trailer for 'The Suicide Squad'

Idris Elba and Pete Davidson also make an appearance.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the official red-band trailer for The Suicide Squad, a standalone sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad. Set to release this summer, the movie sees Margot Robbie return as the unhinged yet lovable Harley Quinn.

The film sees Quinn join a a group of Belle Reve prisoners who have been freed to complete a new mission: destroy a Nazi-era prison and laboratory. Amanda Waller (played by Viola Davis) oversees the task force, a motley crew of super-villains and heroes including Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Blackguard (Pete Davidson) and Peacemaker (John Cena). Additional cast members include Taika Waititi, Alice Braga and Storm Reid.

The Suicide Squad releases in theaters and on HBO Max August 6.
