Cardi B Just Filed a Trademark for “Bardi Beauty”
Reportedly looking to distribute everything from makeup to nail polish.
Cardi B might be the latest celebrity to move into the beauty industry with her new label “Bardi Beauty.” Her company Washpoppin Inc. has just filed a trademark for the phrase, looking to explore a variety of beauty items including goods and services related to personal use, cosmetics, hair care, non-medicated skincare products, nail polish and more.
The trademark filing comes after the rapper filed a trademark for “WAP,” hoping to secure the name for potential beverages as well as other products including clothing and bags. It is evident that Cardi B is exploring opportunities outside of just music, coming out of partnerships with sportswear giant Reebok as well as Fashion Nova.
As of now, there’s yet no information as to how long the approval of “Bardi Beauty” will take, but make sure to keep your eyes peeled as any new information surfaces.
