Nike Gives Air Jordan 1 Low a Denim Makeover
Inspired by the hard-wearing nature of workwear garments.
Following the release of the Air Jordan 1 Mid from the Levi’s x Air Jordan 1 “23/501” pack back in 2008, Nike has unveiled another addition to its sneaker lineup. The Air Jordan 1 Low is coated in denim inspired by workwear such as jeans and jackets.
The upper is constructed with deep blue on the mudguard and eyestays, which are accompanied by washed-out denim on the toebox and tongue. To contrast the jean silhouette, a tan shade highlights the stitching of the ball-and-wings emblem on the heel and lining. Additionally, a pop of red can be seen on the tongue tag, the beige Swoosh and footbed. Finishing off the sneakers are the white midsoles and tan outsoles.
