Here's What Went Down at ROTATE x HYPEBAE's Pop-Up Experience and Dinner

Announced at Copenhagen Fashion Week, the collaborative capsule will launch this fall.

At its Spring/Summer 2022 runway show, ROTATE, the buzzy Copenhagen label co-founded by Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars, announced a surprise project: a collaborative capsule collection created with HYPEBAE.

Part of HYPEBAE‘s five-year anniversary celebrations, the collaboration will debut this fall — in October, to be exact — with a range of special-edition ROTATE Sunday pieces. A first taste of the range came as a pop-up installation was set up at Thursday evening’s runway show. Upon entering the Tunnelfabrikken in Nordhavn, where the brand presented its latest collection against a backdrop of vintage cars, guests were greeted with a pair of trucks displaying the ROTATE x HYPEBAE sky print motif — one stocked with beverages supplied by DAN:SK, and the other filled with goodie bags featuring T-shirts. Notable attendees of the Copenhagen Fashion Week show included Danish model Mona Tougaard, DJ and designer Vashtie and digital creator Doina Ciobanu.

The festivities continued into the night, as ROTATE and HYPEBAE co-hosted a dinner at Apollo Bar & Kantine, one of the city’s most beloved restaurants run by chef Frederik Bille Brahe. Seated at the bistro’s courtyard, the fashion set — from model Vincent Beier to style influencer Caroline Daur — enjoyed scrumptious bread, pasta and wine at long tables. Each guest was also given a single-use film camera for documenting the soirée with snapshots.

Take a look at what happened at the pop-up experience and dinner here. Stay tuned for the official launch of ROTATE x HYPEBAE.
