Aries x Vault by Vans Join Forces for Graphic-Heavy Footwear and Apparel
The London brand puts a colorful spin on Vans’ classics.
Having introduced new footwear silhouettes this summer, Vault by Vans has joined forces with Aries to design a collection of graphic-heavy footwear and apparel.
The streetwear brand’s signature vintage-inspired Americana aesthetic is spotted on some of Vans‘ staple sneakers such as the OG Authentic LX, OG Sk8-Mid LX, Era LX and OG Chukka LX. Each of the kicks takes inspiration from rave culture, which designer Sofia Pantera connected with during her studies at Central Saint Martins.
The Authentic arrives in two colorways, one of which is adorned with marijuana leaf motifs throughout the upper in shades of pink, yellow and black. The other style, dubbed “Tiger Muted,” features tiger stripes atop a tie-dye base. Similar details are spotted on the Sk8-Mid, Era and Chukka.
As for apparel, the duo has created an “Art Trip” hoodie with ’80s-style typography in orange and yellow hues. Meanwhile, a short-sleeved tee is highlighted with Aries and Vans’ branding on the front and back.
