The Row Forays Into Kids Category With New Capsule

Cozy cashmere pieces for your little ones.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen‘s The Row is venturing into kidswear for the first time. The label has launched a colorful knitwear capsule, announced exclusively via W Magazine.

“The items have to have a sense of practicality, ease, and comfort… We think of this for our main collections, but it’s even more important for kids. Over the past 10 years, we’ve personalized cashmere onesie and blanket sets for our clients and friends who have had kids. We wanted to explore that in a bigger way,” the twins shared the inspiration behind their cozy collection. Ashley added that the pieces were designed to be non-gendered: “Kids are the heart of creativity… They should be able to pick and choose what they want to wear, no matter what.” Similar to The Row’s beginnings, the label plans to build the kids’ category by starting with basics.

The collection is comprised of soft cashmere knit sweaters, trousers, long cardigans and beanies in khaki green, blue, gray, orange and fuchsia pink. Footwear is also included in the form of velvet slip-ons influenced by Venetian gondolier shoes. Available for toddlers and children aged from 2 to 10, the items are priced from $390 to $790 USD.

You can head to The Row’s website to shop the brand’s first-ever childrenswear.
