A$AP Rocky Reworks the Vans Slip-On and Mule
As PacSun’s guest artistic director.
A$AP Rocky, PacSun‘s first guest artistic director, has teamed up with Vans to rework the Slip-On and Slip-On Mule. Marking the rapper’s second drop for the brand, the footwear collaboration is highlighted with flame details throughout.
“Vans Slip-Ons are classics — was cool to put my own spin on a shoe that I have always loved. These fit with everything,” Rocky spoke of his latest project. PacSun’s president Brie Olson added: “It is truly inspiring watching Rocky use his fashion sense to put his own spin on a brand with so much heritage. As a longtime partner of PacSun to now guest artistic director, it has been a real pleasure collaborating to give our customers and his fans the opportunity to purchase his merchandise at PacSun.”
Both styles arrive with a black base, which is contrasted with flame motifs. The toe is wrapped in white with black piping that runs along the midsoles, while the footwear brand’s logo appears on a red tag on the laterals. The design is complete with fiery red and orange splashed onto the footbed. Vans’ signature Sidestripe is added to the sneaker iteration, and the mule is rounded out with a backless silhouette.
Priced at $75 and $80 USD respectively, the A$AP Rocky-designed Slip-On Mule and Slip-On are now available for purchase via PacSun’s web store.
