Kiko Kostadinov's SS22 Womenswear Collection Is a Summertime Dream
Inspired by holiday souvenirs and beach towels.
Dreaming of summertime, the duo took inspiration from their native Australia, along with Kathy Lett’s novel Puberty Blues and Tim Winton’s short stories for the latest range. Exploring themes of intimacy and transformation, the designs are crafted with fabrics ranging from rib knit to linen jacquard.
Referencing beach towels and souvenirs from holiday destinations, triple crewneck jersey dresses are draped and layered, while multicolored cardigans arrive in an upside-down look. Elsewhere, striped cotton material is applied to kilt cargo pants alongside satin dresses with cutout detailing. Rounding out the collection are moto jackets and shorts with curvy zipper closures, as well as a skirt featuring shell prints. The looks are accessorized with canvas iterations of the Trivia bag and a new spiral shopper design in leather.
