Bottega Veneta Unveils Mystery FW21 "Salon 02" Collection
The secret runway that happened back in April at Berlin’s Berghain nightclub.
Back in April, Daniel Lee showcased a secret runway at Berlin‘s Berghain nightclub for Bottega Veneta‘s Fall/Winter 2021 season. The creative director has now unveiled the mystery “Salon 02” collection in time with its worldwide launch.
Lee’s latest designs are ones we’ve dreamt of wearing throughout the pandemic. Thousands of colored ostrich feathers are attached to a dress and top-and-bottom set, while 9,500 glass paillettes are used on a cashmere slip. Mini-dresses, paired with thigh-high boots, are accentuated with fringe details at the hem, contrasting the voluminous coats.
Shearling further takes center stage on a selection of outerwear designs, as well as the inflatable tote bag and jackets inspired by balloons. Throughout, Lee’s signature bold hues like turquoise and red highlight the collection, modeled by the likes of Sora Choi, Anok Yai, Mariacarla Boscono and more.
