In a viral video clip, a man that appears to be Malik is seen on the WooPlus screen under the profile name “Zed.” According to a screenshot, the user is based in Ottsville, Philadelphia, where the singer lived while dating Hadid.
WooPlus is described as a “dating app for curvy people to find and enjoy love.” To join the platform, users are required to verify their identity through facial recognition.
As the video clip and screenshots circled the internet, fans of the former One Direction member urged social media users to take the posts down to protect the star’s privacy. Meanwhile, others are doubting the authenticity of the video.
