Chris Appleton, the Los Angeles-based celebrity hairstylist behind some of the hottest a-list celebrity looks, has a quick tip for you on achieving a lazy girl volumizing ponytail.
In a recent Instagram video, Appleton demonstrates how to execute the staple hairstyle. Starting with creating a middle-tousled ponytail, he pulled the model’s hair through the elastic, folded the hair under and then through again, mid-height and fanned the hair out to create more volume and dimension. To emphasize the look, he cinched the ponytail tighter for a closer and fuller fit.
