Storytelling is a central part of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance partnership. Without fail, every installment has come with captivating visuals, from the Conversations Amongst Us campaign video to the Outside Clothes and Inside Voices drops. The aforementioned projects were made in partnership with a team of all Black New Balance creatives, marking a groundbreaking moment in the world of collaborations.
For the designer’s latest drop dubbed “Performance Art,” actress Storm Reid and R&B legend Monica star in the campaign, alongside visual artist Rello, host and influencer Scottie Beam, Jaden Smith, and a handful of other creative minds in the JFG family.
From patchwork separates to velour tracksuits, the apparel collection supports the three-part New Balance 993 drop and will release October 21 via JoeFreshgoods.com and in-store at Every Now and Then. Purchase of the sneakers requires a charitable donation of children’s books or art supplies, but will most likely see a wider release via New Balance’s web store.
