Gucci Serves Up Fall-Ready Metallic Platform Boot

An extension of the brand’s ’70s aesthetic.

While Gucci continues to garner hype thanks to its litany of brand partnerships from a recently revealed Palace collection to collaborations with The North Face and adidas, the Italian brand’s mainline items are not to be overlooked.

For fall, Gucci delivers a healthy offering of ankle boots, from monogram pairs to hiking-inspired models. Among the current footwear roster is a standout style that boast a 1970s aesthetic outfitted with punk details.

A trio of buckles decorate the shoe’s upper alongside overlaid stripe details. Underfoot, a metallic sole and chunky heel add interest, contrasted by a chunky rubber sole for traction.

The style is available now via Gucci‘s web store and retail locations for $1,980 USD. Take a closer look at the splurge-worthy pair in the carousel above.
