Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford's Old Man and Baby Costume Receives Criticism
Seemingly a reference to the pair’s 11-year age gap.
Billie Eilish and her now-confirmed boyfriend Jesse Rutherford (aka the lead vocalist of the Neighborhood) took the concept of a couple’s costume to the next level this Halloween season.
Seemingly a nod to their heavily-critiqued age gap (Eilish is currently 20 years old, while Rutherford is 31), the pair dressed up as a baby and an old man. Eilish was first spotted sharing a kiss with Rutherford earlier this month, which sparked relationship rumors that have yet to actually be confirmed by either of them.
That said, the pair were then seen holding hands at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, ahead of their latest public appearance on Halloween. Many fans have shared their less-than-positive thoughts about the couple and their age gap, and now it appears that this year’s Halloween costume hasn’t been well received either, with fans describing it as “sick” and “disturbing” online.
