CINTA's CLASSICS Collection Is the Ultimate Nannacore Dream

We asked the label’s muses to share their pearls of wisdom on staying young at heart.

CINTA has brought back its CLASSICS collection, just in time for cozy cardigan season. The range of bestselling knits worships the wardrobes of stylish seniors by putting a modern twist on vintage-inspired pieces and playing with whimsical prints and heirlooms. The campaign, lensed by Joseph Bishop, proves the playful range can be worn by all ages effortlessly. Shot in London’s busy streets, CINTA’s muses Linda, Valerie and Kimberley show us how things are done while shopping, having tea and going about their daily business.

Highlights from the collection include the “Rosie,” “Greta” and “Alba” recycled wool cardigan, featuring a delicately embroidered daisy pattern for an sweet look. Meanwhile, the “Bloom” knit offers a slightly more oversized shape in multi-colored hues. Finishing things off, the “Aida” knit includes crochet flowers on the collar for a more classic aesthetic. The bright, electric assortment of knits is all inspired by a love of nature, people and spiritual journeys. Whether you are in the countryside or the city, the handcrafted floral-inspired details will remind you to embrace the simple things in life, no matter your age.

Keeping mindfulness at the heart of the brand, the drop follows a no-waste policy, with each knit being produced in limited runs. CINTA has also formed a life-long partnership with children’s mental health charity “Place 2 Be,” to which they will be donating a percentage of profits and volunteering on their missions every year.

It’s not very often we get to see campaigns showcasing the beauty of age, which is why at Hypebae, we wanted to get the most out of the occasion. We asked CINTA’s muses to share their pearls of wisdom on growing up and staying true to ourselves. Linda opened the conversation by saying that “Attitude is everything. It impacts everything you do and everything you say. Have the right one.” Valerie stated, “Not to worry about things that may never happen, live in the moment,” to which Kimberley added, “We are all unique individuals, so don’t ever feel you’re not as worthy or valuable as the next person!”

Finally, we asked them what they do to stay young at heart and never stop having fun. Linda recommended, “To take time and relax on a hot sunny beach, with a drink in hand, doing absolutely nothing.” Meanwhile, Valerie suggested “Go out with friends, eating, drinking, dancing, enjoying every moment.” Kimberley proposed, “Finding unique art exhibitions — especially those that celebrate nature and its beauty.”

Check out the stunning lookbook above. The CINTA CLASSICS collection is now available to shop on the label’s website.
