Jessica Alba’s Honest Company Announces Carla Vernón as Its CEO

Jessica Alba is keeping true to the identity of her brand Honest Company by chartering diversity with the recent appointment of former Amazon C-Suite executive and Afro-Latina Carla Vernón as CEO.
Effective January 9, 2023, Vernón will become one of the few Afro-Latina CEOs at a U.S. publicly traded company. “I am thrilled Carla is joining The Honest Company as our next CEO. She is a strategic, visionary leader who will continue to build Honest as the legacy brand for tomorrow’s generation,” said Founder Jessica Alba in a press release. “What makes Carla unique is her innate ability to drive product innovation and go-to-market strategies that captivate consumers’ imagination, strengthen brand loyalty, and significantly impact the bottom line.
