HAY Launches New Lighting Collection Reminiscent of Traditional Mongolian Tents

Conceptualized by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.

HAY is expanding its “Pao” series with three new variations of lamps. Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, the line resembles traditional Mongolian tents.

The Pao Portable Lamp is a standout in the collection and is comprised of durable steel. Available in “Red,” “Black” and “White” colorways, the product emits a warm, pleasant light, boasting a light switch expertly hidden within the shade. Fit for hotels, conference rooms and restaurant areas, the Pao Pendant arrives in a larger silhouette and is designed to hang from the ceiling.  Elsewhere, the Pao Floor Lamp comes in variations of steel or glass.

The “Pao” collection is now available on HAY’s website and its retail stores, with prices ranging from €139 to €425 EUR (approximately $158 to $483 USD).
