Sydney Sweeney and Halsey Are Starring in Upcoming Film 'National Anthem'
Marking the musician’s acting debut.
Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney and singer Halsey are set to star in the forthcoming film National Anthem. The two talents will co-star alongside Simon Rex, Paul Walter Hauser, Toby Huss, Harriet Sansom Harris and Gavin Maddox Bergman.
National Anthem is about a group of people searching for a valuable one-of-a-kind Lakota Native American Ghost Shirt in hopes of being rewarded with money or personal freedom.
Halsey took to Instagram to share the news. “So honored and excited,” she wrote before shouting out her “bestie” Sweeney.
Tony Tost, who’s best known as writer-slash producer of Longmire, Damnation and The Terror is making his directorial debut with the movie. “I am truly honored to have the opportunity to bring National Anthem to life on film, and to work with Page Fifty-Four Pictures, Bron Studios and this incredible cast,” Tost said, as reported by Deadline. “I’m especially thrilled to be bringing to the screen a vision of modern rural America that pays tribute to the myths of the West while also radically reinventing them.”
