Take an On-Foot Look at the Women's Air Jordan 1 "Chenille"
Also known as the AJ1 “Varsity Red.”
Images of the women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chenille” first began circulating back in January. Seemingly inspired by varsity letterman jackets, the AJ1 features a plush chenille Swoosh and ribbed tongue.
Classic “Varsity Red” lands on the overlays, wrapping the sneaker’s toe box, ankle, heel and eyestay. A pale gray hue dubbed “Iron Ore” covers the collar, tongue and Wings logo. “Sail” white touches finish off the collegiate design.
Yankee Kicks provides our first on-foot look at the pair, signaling that the shoe’s release date draws near. Early reports suggest as soon as April. Fans can expect the model to carry a $170 USD retail price.
