Following Their Split, 'Selling Sunset's Jason Oppenheim Says He Still Loves Chrishell Stause
“It doesn’t help that I have to rewatch [the show] and then go to a reunion and talk about it.”
Back in December 2021, Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim of Netflix‘s Selling Sunset called it quits after around seven months of dating. With the recent premiere of the show’s latest season, fans get a glimpse of their relationship and how madly in love they were.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Oppenheim was asked about how he’s been dealing with the breakup now that Selling Sunset Season 5 is out. “I think that I made the right decision for myself, but also I think it’s just extremely difficult,” the real estate broker admitted. “I love her still. I always will. She’s a great woman so there’s just a lot of loss there.”
Us Weekly added that their co-star and co-worker Mary Fitzgerald mentioned that she felt like Oppenheim is still “very much in love” with Stause, and asked if that was true. “I will always love her,” he replied. Oppenheim also stated that the split was “far more difficult than [he] thought. “It doesn’t help that I have to rewatch it and then go to a reunion and talk about it. It’s gonna be a tough few weeks ahead,” he said.
Stay tuned for the Selling Sunset reunion on May 6 on Netflix.
