One month after confirming that the singer was pregnant.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have sadly lost their first child in a miscarriage.

The couple took to Instagram to make the announcement and said, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent.”

The tragic news comes after a month Spears and Asghari revealed that they were expecting. “Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along,” they added. Having each other as their support system, the pair shared that they will still try to continue expanding their family.
