Instagram To Start Testing NFTs This Week
Allowing select users to display their tokens on their profiles.
Instagram is expanding its platform to the world of NFTs by allowing non-fungible token creators and collectors to display their tokens on their profiles.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri commented on the news via a video, saying: “I want to acknowledge upfront that NFTs and blockchain technologies and Web3 more broadly are all about distributing trust, distributing power. But Instagram is fundamentally a centralized platform, so there’s a tension there.”
