'90s Grunge Inspires PLEASURES x Dr. Martens' 1461 Bex Silhouette
Sporting a tie-dye poly textile upper.
PLEASURES and Dr. Martens have come together once again to reimagine another classic silhouette of the British label.
A timeless design, the 1461 Bex shoe features a reworked tie-dye poly textile upper, which is an ode to the DIY aesthetic of the music subcultures — grunge, metal and punk — that influence the two brands. For added contrast, the lacing system and raised Bex soles are dressed in black. Rounding off the footwear style are the three-eyelet Oxford sporting the PLEASURES logo tag and Dr. Martens’ signature yellow welt stitching. Take a closer look at the collaborative piece above.
The PLEASURES x Dr. Martens 1461 Bex will release on June 17 via Dr. Martens’ website and at select stores for $160 USD.
