Video of Disneyland Paris Employee Interrupting a Proposal Goes Viral
Making the theme park the not-so happiest place on Earth for the couple.
This past weekend, a Disneyland Paris employee interfered with a marriage proposal, ruining one of the most special moments in their lives.
According to Deadline, the occurrence was filmed and has gone viral since being posted online. The man in the video reportedly asked a park employee for permission to propose on a platform that has the perfect view of Cinderella’s Castle. However, as soon as he popped the question to his partner, an employee ran between the couple and grabbed the ring box, leading the couple down from the platform. “Yes, that’s great but over here will be even better,” he said. Completely in shock and dismay, the pair walk down and follow the employee’s instructions.
“We regret how this was handled,” a Disney spokesperson told Newsweek. “We have apologized to the couple involved and offered to make it right.”
