Here's Your First Look at 'Do Revenge,' Starring Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke
Everything you need to know about Netflix’s new dark comedy.
Riverdale‘s Camila Mendes and Stranger Things star Maya Hawke are set to join forces for a new Netflix comedy called Do Revenge due to release later this fall.
Brought to you by the same director who gave us Someone Great (starring Gina Rodriguez), the new film is about ”a clandestine meet-cute [where] Drea (Alpha, fallen it girl) and Eleanor (beta, new alt girl) team up to go after each other’s tormentors,” according to the Netflix synopsis. “Do Revenge is a subverted Hitchock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls.”
Mendes shared a sneak peek of the film on her Instagram page with a caption that read “do revenge, out September 16th on @netflix. ‘whatever you think this movie is, it’s that, but it’s also different.’ – flawless description by @jennkaytin.”
Do Revenge lands on Netflix on September 16. Little else has been revealed about the star-studded release, but stay tuned for updates.
